Woven with Light
€3,370
In the simple gesture of a young woman braiding her hair, a delicate harmony of movement and light unfolds. Her fingers weave the strands together, while the painting intertwines warm highlights and cool shadows. Hands, hair, and folds of fabric come together in a shared rhythm, as though the painting itself were taking shape through this unhurried act of weaving.
Attention to detail conveys the sensory richness of the moment: the warmth of skin, the softness of hair, and the light gliding across them. Visible brushstrokes and subtle shifts in tone give colour a sense of volume and an everyday gesture a quiet beauty. Here, light does more than illuminate the figure—it becomes one of the threads from which her presence is woven.
