Still Water Ritual

In “Still Water Ritual,” a simple touch of water becomes a moment of returning to oneself. The bend of the body, the cupped hands, and the droplets sending ripples across the surface convey a quiet attentiveness. Here, one can briefly let go of everyday concerns and feel life through the coolness of water, the warmth of light, and one’s own breath.
Stillness becomes an inner state — a calm in which we begin to notice and feel more deeply. Patches of light on the skin, translucent fabric, and shifting reflections connect the figure to the surrounding space. Alternating broad brushstrokes with finely painted details, the artist gives this everyday gesture a special significance: happiness emerges in the simple possibility of being fully present in the moment.
